About The Ministry
Who am I and what is Adullam?
Blessings everyone, I'm WT Parker and I have been blessed to be a follower of Christ for nearly 30 years. I'm nobody special just a person with a passion to help people pursue and achieve their God given destiny.
The biblical story of David escaping from King Saul's murderous pursuit to go hideout in the cave at Adullam is one of my favorite Bible stories.
1 David therefore departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And when his brothers and all his father's house heard it, they went down there to him. 2 And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him. So he became captain over them. - 1 Samuel 22:1 NKJV
Imagine running for your life trying to get away from it all and your entire family and all the less desirable people in town track you down and expect you to take care of them. Outside of the fact it appears David would be lousy at playing Hide and Seek he rose to this challenge and used this situation to turn a group of people nobody really wanted in to a foundation of individuals who would in the future would help him reign over the kingdom of Israel.
In my experience as business leader for nearly 35 years I have found that many times I also wanted to just hide from the treachery of business but God would always bring people my way that needed encouragement in their lives and vocations. God has taught me that I can't control the circumstances in which I am being pursued but I am required to do what I have been called to do. That calling is to let people know, regardless if they believe in Jesus, that they have value and they have purpose. They can absolutely achieve what they have been created to do. If they find Jesus and His promise of eternal life that is even better. However, that is the ministry of the Holy Spirit, I just try to demonstrate the love of Jesus in my life and pray that someone will see something authentic about my relationship with the Lord and want to follow.
The workplace can seem like the hardest place to find Jesus. That is where I want to help. If you have felt "distress, debt and discontented" hit the button on the lower right of this page and tell me what is going on. Many of you may have convinced yourself that you have little chance of a successful career or a life with known purpose. Now, I am not claiming to even be close to the leader that David was for the nation of Israel but I but I am willing to encourage you in accomplishing your journey.
That is what this ministry is about. I am here to help you understand how communication, biblical life coaching and understanding the power of forgiveness can catapult you to your heavenly calling and personal satisfaction. Welcome to the Adullam Organization. Let's get started.
This website is just the initial release and is definitely a work in progress. I wanted to launch something before Easter. This site currently lacks and capability for us to communicate outside of email. So please be patient. I have a vision to make things more interactive. For right now, please subscribe to the blog posts and read about the things the Lord puts on my heart. I look forward to our journey. Welcome to the virtual cave of Adullam.
Declaration of Faith
- We believe that the Holy Bible is the infallible true Word of God.
- We believe In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the promised Messiah of the Old Testament
- Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
- Jesus is fully God and fully man without sin. He was crucified, dead, buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead. That Jesus ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our Intercessor.
- We believe that justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ
- We believe in sanctification by being born again, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit.
What is coming to the Website?
- There will be a series of ministry websites that will fall under the umbrella of the Adullam Organization. The first ministry will be CyberPastors.com. CyberPastors will be a continuation of a ministry I started over 20 years ago called InternetPastors.com. This will be a site where Pastors are available around the clock to assist you with your spiritual issues.
- The next site to be launched under the Adullam umbrella after CyberPastors.com is GoingThru.org. I'm not ready to release all the details about this but I am super excited about what I believe the Lord wants me to do with GoingThru.org
- I will be setting up a studio to provide live streams so that I can communicate directly with everyone
